Counseling for the Parts of Life That Ask You to Find Your Way Forward

Support for healing from difficult experiences, navigating change, understanding patterns, and reconnecting with your own voice.

Sometimes moving forward begins with understanding what you’ve been carrying.

You may be navigating a major transition, questioning who you are or what comes next, struggling to trust your own judgment, or noticing that difficult experiences and relationships continue to shape how you see yourself. You may know something needs to change without yet knowing what that change should look like.

Counseling can offer space to understand what has shaped you, strengthen your connection with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

What We Might Explore

Trauma & Difficult Experiences

Understanding how past experiences continue to shape emotions, relationships, beliefs, and patterns in the present.

Trusting Your Own Voice

Strengthening self-trust, recognizing your needs, making decisions with greater confidence, and reconnecting with what matters to you.

Life Transitions & Change

Navigating endings, beginnings, shifting roles, uncertainty, and seasons when life no longer looks the way it once did.

Self-Esteem & Confidence

Understanding self-doubt and building a more grounded, compassionate, and authentic relationship with yourself.

Identity & Sense of Self

Exploring who you are beyond expectations, roles, relationships, and the stories you have carried about yourself.

Anxiety & Overwhelm

Making sense of anxious patterns, strengthening regulation, and developing ways to respond differently when life feels like too much.

Difficult Family Dynamics

Exploring boundaries, relational patterns, family roles, guilt, conflict, and the lasting impact of complicated relationships.

Counseling Across Different Stages of Life

I work with clients ages 5 and older, with counseling tailored to each person’s developmental stage, needs, and goals.

Children

Developmentally responsive support that may incorporate play, creativity, emotional expression, and skill-building.

Adolescents

Support for identity, anxiety, confidence, relationships, transitions, and navigating the challenges of growing into yourself.

Adults

Space to explore trauma, life transitions, identity, self-trust, anxiety, confidence, and difficult family dynamics.

Thoughtful, Collaborative, and Grounded in the Whole Person

Depth + practical support

Our work may include deeper reflection alongside concrete tools, new ways of responding, and practices you can carry into everyday life.

Mind + body awareness

When helpful, we may pay attention not only to thoughts and beliefs, but also to emotions, nervous-system responses, and what your body may be communicating.

Tailored to you

Counseling does not have to follow a one-size-fits-all formula. I adapt the process to your needs, goals, personality, and stage of life.

A space for curiosity

We can look beneath the surface at patterns, experiences, emotions, relationships, and the meanings you’ve made from what you’ve lived through.

An Integrative Approach to Change

I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach, drawing from different counseling theories and practices based on the needs of each client. Our work may include exploring patterns and beliefs, reconnecting with values, understanding the stories that shape identity, strengthening emotional regulation, building practical skills, or working with the ways difficult experiences are held in both mind and body.

With younger clients, counseling may also incorporate developmentally appropriate play, creativity, and experiential activities.
